Vinh Hiep discusses biodiversity and regenerative agriculture at 4C Asia meeting
On 17 September 2026, Vinh Hiep participated in the 4C Asia Stakeholder Conference at the New World Saigon hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Co-organised by 4C and VICOFA, the event brought together coffee and cocoa participants to discuss value, compliance and greener growth.
A discussion on biodiversity and regenerative agriculture
Thai Nhu Hiep joined the panel on biodiversity and regenerative agriculture with representatives of Louis Dreyfus, Nestlé Vietnam and KDP Coffee. Participants explored how farming approaches can connect environmental considerations with the economic needs of growers and the wider chain.

Vinh Hiep contributed a business perspective on bringing sustainability principles into production and the value chain. Traceability, environmental responsibility and the evidence behind a practice were part of the context for the discussion.
Broader subjects affecting supply chains
The conference also addressed EUDR, consumer-facing environmental claims, the German supply-chain due-diligence framework, emissions and human-rights due diligence. These were conference topics; the event itself did not certify participants’ products against all the requirements discussed.
For companies, the practical challenge is to connect policy and customer requirements with reliable operational information. The discussion reinforced the importance of knowing which product, period and activity a record describes.
L’amant Café in the networking area
L’amant Café served coffee to partners at the event, including products developed from Vietnamese raw material and Fine Robusta from Gia Lai. This gave participants a direct connection between the sourcing-area discussion and a finished coffee product.

The conference provided an opportunity to exchange experience and maintain relationships across the industry. Vinh Hiep connected its participation with continued work on a more transparent and responsible coffee value chain.
