Vinh Hiep’s verified green coffee carbon footprint: 2025 study
Control Union Inspections (Pvt) Ltd. issued a greenhouse gas verification opinion for Vinh Hiep on 2 June 2026. The published summary identifies the assessed product as green coffee beans cultivated using combined organic and NPK fertilizers.
Result and reporting unit
The summary reports 3,769 kg CO₂e per tonne of packaged green coffee beans for the study period from 1 January to 31 December 2025. This equals 3.769 kg CO₂e per kilogram, or approximately 3.77 kg when rounded.

Method and scope
The document states that verification followed ISO 14064-3:2019 against the requirements of ISO 14067:2018. Its scope is the unit processes attributable to the system boundary of the identified product.
The summary explicitly states that it is not valid without the full Assurance Statement on pages 2–3. Buyers should review those pages for the complete boundary, exclusions and assurance details before using the figure in their own reporting.
How buyers should use the information
- Confirm that the product and supply period match the purchase being evaluated.
- Obtain the complete verification opinion and the underlying scope information.
- Compare results only when functional units and system boundaries are compatible.
The result is a product carbon-footprint figure, not proof of zero emissions or carbon neutrality. It does not establish the footprint of all Vinh Hiep products or all Vietnamese coffee.
