Vinh Hiep attends the Vietnam Value 2026 announcement press briefing
On 29 September 2026 in Hanoi, Vinh Hiep attended the press briefing for the tenth Vietnam Value national brand announcement. The programme highlighted the growing importance of innovation, technology, green development and long-term competitiveness in the assessment of Vietnamese brands.
The announced selection
The briefing reported that 499 products from 227 enterprises had been recognised under Decision 2136/QD-BCT, issued on 29 August 2026. The company update placed those figures alongside the programme’s earlier development: 50 products from 30 enterprises in 2008 and 359 products from 190 enterprises in 2024.

The programme is led by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and operates on a biennial selection cycle. Its core values are quality, innovation and pioneering capability.
Innovation and the capacity behind a product
The update described an increased emphasis on innovation in the 2026 criteria, including 300 points within a total of 1,000. The discussion extended beyond the finished product to research and development, technology, digital transformation and new ways of organising business.
Deputy minister Luong Hoang Thai spoke at the briefing about the programme’s role in encouraging businesses to build brands through these capabilities. Green development, human resources and the ability to participate in international value chains were also part of the context.
Connecting the programme with coffee development
For Vinh Hiep, the themes connect with work across its coffee chain: sourcing-area relationships, organic production programmes, processing investment and product development. The company also described continued attention to growing-area information, emissions measurement and more efficient use of resources.
Those areas involve different records and activities. A national brand recognition provides company and product context, while an individual buyer still needs the information applicable to the coffee being proposed.
Looking towards the ceremony
At the date of the briefing, the announcement ceremony was scheduled for 16 October 2026 in Hanoi with the theme “The Flow of Vietnamese Brands”. This article records the briefing as it was reported on 29 September; the subsequent ceremony is covered in a separate company update.
The company’s participation reflected its interest in connecting Vietnamese coffee products with the wider development of national brands and international competitiveness.
