Vinh Hiep discusses quality and sustainable coffee development in 2023
An update published on 3 February 2023 highlighted Vinh Hiep’s investment in coffee quality and sustainable production. Following its export activity in 2022, the company discussed the importance of managing the process from the growing area through to the finished product.
Quality work begins at the source
Thai Nhu Hiep emphasised care in cultivation and production as a foundation for increasing the value of Vietnamese coffee. The company’s work included investment in equipment and growing and processing systems in Gia Lai.

The article connected the development of higher-quality coffee with environmental, economic and social considerations. These subjects affect the resilience of production and the ability of participants to maintain relationships with international customers.
Sustainability programmes and documentation
Vinh Hiep described its participation in several international programmes, including 4C and Rainforest Alliance, alongside organic coffee activities. At the beginning of 2023, the company also reported receiving a 4C Carbon Footprint Add-On certificate.
That milestone formed part of the development direction discussed for 2023–2025. Programme participation and certification should be understood within their stated scope and validity period; a dated company update does not establish the status of every current product.
Connecting production improvements with market needs
The update presented quality management and responsible production as related areas of work. For buyers, the practical next step is to identify the required product, compare the offered specification and sample, and request the records relevant to the proposed supply.
