VTV2 report explores added value in Vietnamese coffee
On 21 June 2023, VTV2’s Chat Viet programme featured a report on increasing the value of Vietnamese coffee. Vinh Hiep contributed to the discussion about processing and the development of products for international markets.
Moving further along the value chain
The report considered how processing can expand the opportunities available from Vietnam’s coffee raw material. Product development, manufacturing and the requirements of export customers were part of the wider conversation.
The programme also referred to the role of standards and certification in the sector. These need to be considered alongside the actual product and the scope of the supporting records.
